Common questions
How do I water a flower?
Open the flower and use “We connected” to record meaningful contact. A text, call, voice note, meetup or gift all count. Drafting or sharing a message alone does not record a connection.
How does sharing work?
Shared care uses iCloud. Both people need Garden Friends and separate iCloud accounts. Open your flower, choose “Care together”, enter the name your friend should see, and send the invitation. They must accept before you are connected.
Photos and memories remain private unless explicitly shared. Contacts, private notes and important dates are not shared.
My shared flower is not updating
Check your internet connection and iCloud sign-in on both devices, install the latest app version, then use Refresh in the shared-care section. If an error persists, email its wording and your app version. Avoid deleting the flower or reinstalling while troubleshooting.
Can I pause a flower?
Yes. Use the flower's pause controls when life gets busy or a relationship needs space. Flowers never die, and their appearance is not a relationship score.
How do I manage a subscription?
Use Settings in the app to restore purchases. To cancel or manage a subscription, open your iPhone Settings, tap your Apple Account name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles billing. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I export or delete my data?
Use the export and deletion controls in Garden Friends Settings. Keep exported files somewhere private: they contain personal relationship information. Deletion of shared content requires an iCloud connection; if it fails, reconnect and retry. Copies saved by someone else or exports you made must be handled separately.
Where can I get the app?
Garden Friends is currently in testing. Public App Store availability will be announced here when the app launches.
